Our first product, the AERIS Airway, transforms oral pharyngeal (OPA) and nasopharyngeal airways (NPAs) into state-of-the-art O2 delivery and ETCO2 monitoring devices.

With the AERIS in use during I.V. sedation, FIO2 approaches 80% at O2 flow rates as low as 2-4 L/min while a real-time, precise ETCO2 waveform is produced.

We believe it is no longer acceptable that hypoxemia remains one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality during anesthesia care.

That is why we developed the AERIS Airway.

Key Milestones

What led Airway Innovations to develop the AERIS Airway...

2011

The American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) updates its guidelines, recommending capnography for all patients undergoing I.V. sedation to detect hypoventilation before desaturation occurs.

2014

The Joint Commission (TJC) begins emphasizing capnography use during I.V. sedation for patient safety.
