Airway Innovations™ and Anesthesia Service, Inc. Announce Distribution Partnership to Expand AERIS Airway® Adoption for Safer, Simpler IV Sedation, Total IV Anesthesia (TIVA), and Post-Extubation Care

Deer Park, IL and Oklahoma City, OK – September 1, 2026 – Airway Innovations, Inc., a medical device company dedicated to improving the safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of deep IV sedation, TIVA, and post-extubation airway management, today announced a distribution partnership with Anesthesia Service, Inc. (“ASI”) to represent the AERIS Airway® across hospital-based and ambulatory care settings. Under the agreement, ASI will serve as the exclusive distributor of the AERIS Airway in Oklahoma and Texas.

Anesthesia Service, Inc. is a privately held medical equipment company founded in 1956 that has spent nearly seven decades delivering best-in-class anesthesia systems, monitoring equipment, airway management products, and medical gas solutions to hospitals, surgery centers, and healthcare systems throughout Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, and Southern Kansas. Operating from offices in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Dallas, Texas, ASI is recognized as one of the nation’s leading anesthesia service organizations, providing product expertise, training, and ongoing clinical support to critical care clinicians.

Under the agreement, ASI will market, sell, and support the AERIS Airway, an innovative device that converts standard adult Guedel oropharyngeal airways (OPAs) and adult nasopharyngeal airways (NPAs) into advanced supraglottic oxygenation and capnography systems. By delivering a high fraction of inspired oxygen (FiO₂) at low oxygen flow rates and enabling continuous end-tidal CO₂ monitoring, the AERIS Airway is designed to reduce the risk of hypoxemia, streamline the anesthesia workflow, and facilitate lower overall surgical and procedural costs.

“The AERIS Airway is a low-cost, high-impact device that addresses a critical gap when OPAs and NPAs are used by keeping patients safe, well-oxygenated, and continuously monitored — without adding complexity or financial cost,” said Paul Fehrenbacher, Chief Executive Officer of Airway Innovations. “ASI has spent nearly 70 years introducing high-impact anesthesia and respiratory technologies to critical care clinicians across the Southcentral U.S., and their reputation for hands-on training and bedside support makes them a strong partner to accelerate adoption of the AERIS Airway across hospital operating and procedure rooms and outpatient facilities.”

The AERIS Airway seamlessly fits into standard adult Guedel OPAs and adult NPAs, allowing anesthesia providers to incorporate the device into their current workflow with minimal change. The device delivers FiO₂ up to 80% at oxygen flows as low as 2–4 L/min and up to 100% at 6–10 L/min, while capturing real-time, high-fidelity capnography waveforms to support ventilatory decision-making. The AERIS Airway can be used whenever an adult Guedel OPA or NPA is used, including during deep IV sedation, TIVA, post-extubation, and in emergency medical settings. Importantly, the AERIS Airway exceeds the ASA guidelines for monitoring EtCO₂ during IV sedation and TIVA.

“Anesthesia Service has spent nearly 70 years earning the trust of critical care clinicians by bringing them proven, cost-effective technology backed by real training and support,” said David Walker, Owner of Anesthesia Service, Inc. “At ASI, our goal has always been to bring our customers products that become the standard of care, and the AERIS Airway fits that mission perfectly. It’s exactly the kind of solution our customers are looking for — a simple, single-use device that improves oxygenation and CO₂ monitoring without asking providers to change how they work. We’re excited to bring it to hospitals and surgery centers across our territory.”

Healthcare providers interested in evaluating the AERIS Airway can contact their local Anesthesia Service, Inc. representative or reach Airway Innovations directly for more information and to schedule a demonstration.
