Rochester, NY and Deer Park, Illinois – January 7, 2026 – Airway Innovations, Inc., has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with MetroMed Inc., of Rochester, NY to be its exclusive distribution partner for the AERIS Airway™ device. Under the agreement, MetroMed will lead commercialization efforts for the AERIS Airway across its New England hospital network, leveraging its deep relationships and proven track record of introducing innovative medical devices to the market.
The AERIS Airway directly addresses long-standing challenges in airway management. Today, up to 1 in 3 patients experience hypoxemia during I.V. sedation which if not recognized can lead to catastrophic consequences, including death. The AERIS Airway is designed to significantly reduce the incidence of hypoxemia during I.V. sedation by optimizing oxygen delivery to the patient, while also allowing anesthesia providers the ability to preemptively detect and treat signs of respiratory compromise.
